Just Married!

Today marks two months since I married the love of my life. Marrying the man of my dreams is one of the most intimate parts of my life, and it took me 33 years to get here. For a long time I was in search for the perfect mate, but truthfully I put my love life on the back burner for years because of my career. I had to believe, however that some cosmic force brought me to Utah. It seemed so random, but then again a lot of happenstances in television news are just that…random. But I believe there was nothing random about meeting John. Yes, that’s really his name and if you’ve followed my journey long enough you’ll know who he is! As I continue building this blog, I will talk about a lot of topics including life, love, fitness, health, food, beauty …anything and everything I’ve experienced in hopes that just maybe you’ll learn something from me. In my every day life, I read …from blogs to books, and I believe everyone has a token of wisdom to offer each other. So today, on our 2 month anniversary …my message is this, in all the year of my life, in all my endeavors, from jumping out of an airplane at 13,000 feet for a news story, to getting over my fears of being on the big screen, to making monumental decisions about my career, LOVE has been the most courageous journey I’ve ever been on. Until now, I had a closed heart. My protective shield kept me from embarking on the road unknown, but John changed that. He forced me to look deep inside, the most inner part of myself. Once my armor was stripped, the walls came crumbling down …love flowed through my veins, breathing life into every cell in my body. I truly believe LOVE takes courage, strength and being selfless. I thank him for teaching me all those things!

Here are a couple of more pictures from our wedding. It was in beautiful San Ramon, California which is where my family lives. For now we are nesting in Utah, where we just bought a beautiful home!
