We’ve all heard of liquid diets. Juicing isn’t about cutting calories, or replacing meals. If anything you’re adding calories to your daily intake, but more importantly you’re adding vital nutrients you don’t often get during the day. There are so many articles and documentaries about the health benefits of juicing, even the risks of juicing. This blog is about my experience with juicing. I’m not a doctor, but my own personal experience tells me use juicing the right way and it can be a powerful addition to your health plan. I’ve read books about juicing, the benefits of the vitamins extracted during the juicing process, and I believe if you want to reap the rewards of juicing, it has to be consistent just like with anything else.

Do I juice every day? No. Because I used organic fruits and vegetables, it is simply too costly to juice EVERY DAY. However, remember a little goes a long way. That means you don’t need to drink a full glass of blended juice from vegetables daily. It all depends on what you’re aiming for.

For me, BEET juice has been a digestive dream. So when I juice, I make sure to throw some beets to the mix, every other day or 3-4 times a week. It helps my intestines push everything to where it needs to go.

If you want some awesome juicing recipes, check out this book. It’s called the Joy of Juicing (pictured below).
